Sorry I seem to only post when I have a referral link BUT I found this really cool site that I think a lot of you guys would like. It's called eDivv (that's a referral link here's the regular link ) 

What it is is a makeup/etc items trading service. You can put up items of yours that you are interested in trading and other people can send you offers of their stuff they are willing to trade. Recent TV Faves

Hey guys! Long time no blog! Today I'm going to be sharing with you tv shows I've been obsessed with! They're pretty much all comedies. A few of them I've loved for awhile but recommend for you to check out. 

(in no order)

1. The Awesomes

 A hulu exclusive (which if you would like to share your plus account with me I'd be grateful) that is free and created by Seth Meyers and Mike Shoemaker. It's about a group of lame superheros who try to save the world. It's really funny and inappropriate. Tons of SNL alums and hilarious people voicing the animated cartoon. Recommend if you love superheros! Don't worry you don't need a hulu plus to watch! 

2.  Hotwives of Orlando

Another Hulu exclusive. This show is a parody of all the Housewive shows. Super inappropriate and hilarious. A hulu plus account is needed to watch ALL the episodes but you can watch most of the season for free. 

3. Portlandia 

This show comes on IFC but you can watch the first 3 seasons on Netflix. It stars Fred Armisen (former SNL cast member) and Carrie Brownstein. It's a sketch comedy set in Portland. 

4. The League 

This show comes on FXX but you can watch the first 5 seasons on Netflix. It is about a fantasy football league full of awful people. You do not need to be a fan of football to enjoy the show! It is full of inappropriate humor and awful people being awful. Warning: this show is addictive. (I finished all 5 short seasons in about a week or less) 

5. America's Next Top Model 

This show is on CW and you can catch up on their website. ps it comes on Mondays at 9pm. It's a reality show that has been on forever but THIS season. It is hilarious. First off Romeo (I love him) is a witch who casts spells on the other contestants. Second off the best potential drinking game would be every time you hear anyone mention anything Tyra you take a drink. You'd be drunk within the first half hour easily. Perfect if you love stupid, trashy tv. 

6. #Rich Kids of Beverly Hills 

This show is on E! Sundays at 10pm. It's about a bunch of spoiled rich kids and it's hilarious. Yes it's a reality show and they're a bunch of brats but their quotes are priceless. I could totally see myself acting this way if I had money. Another great stupid tv show. 

7. Parks and Rec 

I just love this show SOOO much. Ok enough said. 

8. American Horror Story

In Technicolor Tour RECAP

So I recently went to Jesse McCartney's concert at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville. Here's my fangirl experience. (: 

THE CONCERT WAS AMAZING! Of all the concerts I've been to (Taylor Swift, One Direction, and Selena Gomez) this one was my favorite. It may sound crazy but I just had a lot more fun at this concert than at this one than the others. (Don't get me wrong the others were also amazing.) I think because this one was a smaller venue I was able to have more of an experience if that makes any sense at all. Also Jesse puts on such a great show. He has killer vocals and dance moves. He also had a few DJ moments. He was practically a whole boy band all in one. I really really enjoyed his show and if you get a chance you should go!

In Technicolor by Jesse McCartney REVIEW

I love reviewing things especially when I have strong opinions about something. So today I'll be reviewing Jesse McCartney's new album In Technicolor. Let me start off by saying I'm a huge Jmac fan and have been since I was little so take this as you will. I also went to his concert (which I'll make a different post about).

*fangirls* okay moving along...

1. In Technicolor part 1- This isn't a real song in my opinion since it's only a minute or so long. Not worth reviewing. So skipping

2. Back Together- This was released as a single and I LOVE it. It's upbeat and you can dance to it. What else do you need? Heard it at the concert and those vocals *swooooon* Plus I'd so get back together with him. 

3. Young Love- Another favorite from the album. I'm pretty sure Nash Overstreet (from Hot Chelle Rae) helped write this one. It's also upbeat and I can picture blasting it on my car radio with the windows down. He killed it live too! *still swooning*

4. Superbad- Another fave. Major MJ vibe. It's practically illegal to NOT dance during this song. I need a minute after seeing this live. THOSE MOVES. I swear he was trying to kill me. (be on a lookout for my recap of the concert!) 

5. All About Us- A slower song song. Not quite a ballad but not as upbeat as the others. This song doesn't really drive me crazy. It's nice, not really much I can say about it. Sounded great live. 

6. Checkmate- Ballad. Beautiful song. I really like this song. I think it's because of the lyrics? I also think it reminds me of old Jesse that I first fell in love with. So glad he included it in his concert since it's different from most of his other songs. 

7.  Punch Drunk Recreation- I think this would have to be my top favorite of the album. It's SUCH a dance song and I love EVERYTHING about it. I've pretty much had this song stuck in my head since I first heard it. It was a great song for the concert! It's not human to not dance! 

8. Goodie Bag- This song surprised me. The lyrics are so sexy? I really can't think of a better word to describe it. I'd say it's like All About Us in that not ballad category. Another frequent stuck-in-my-head song. I wish he would of played this one at the concert! 

9. In Technicolor part 2- Now this one is a real song! I like the lyrics. This is a fun song. It grows on me every time I hear it. Not that I don't like it, I just don't really know what to say about it. I like it. Is that good enough? Another great song for the concert especially since it was the  In Technicolor Tour! 

10. Tie the Knot- Okay Jesse since you asked so nicely I will tie the knot with you *blushes* This song is so swoonworthy. Sort of like Back Together but maybe not as upbeat-dancey. Just a pretty song that you can daydream about. I'm pretty sure this was sung at the concert.

11. The Other Guy- aka the most perfect/beautiful ballad EVER. Boy, do I looooove this song so much more than I thought I would. (not really a ballad person) The VOCALS. The LYRICS. The TEARS are REAL. Grab a tissue because this one hurts. Fortunately, he played this at the concert. UNfortunately, my heart broke. I JUST CAN'T WITH THIS SONG OK. 

Target Exclusives-

12. So Cool- Growing on me QUICKLY. Love love love the lyrics. Similar feelings to In Technicolor part 2. Definitely some dancing potential. Also I'd love for this to be sung about me... It was SO COOL of him to play this at the concert. I HAD TO GUYS I HAD TO. I'm very sorry but how could I not? :(

13. Catch and Release- I'm not as familiar with this song as the others. It's pretty slow (not that that makes it good/bad). Not my favorite it's ok. Probably my least favorite on the album (not including In Technicolor part 1). If slow songs are you're thing you'd probably like it. 

Overall- 

I LOVE the album! It's right up my alley. I think it's because it's Jmac BUT also because pretty much all of the songs are upbeat and fun. I'd give it an A. Sorry to have kept mentioning the concert but the concert was AMAZING and I thought I would include which songs were there and which weren't.

Finding Carter REVIEW

Last night on MTV, a new show called Finding Carter premiered. The show had a 2 hour premiere starting at 10pm. I watched it because it had an interesting premise. The show is about a girl named Carter who finds out that who she thought was her mom was actually her KIDNAPPER THAT'S HELD HER FOR 13 YEARS. 

Here's what I thought (please don't get mad at my opinions): bottom line I didn't like it. I love the premise but that's were it stopped. The main character was soooo unlikable. She was rude and bitchy every time she opened her mouth. It was impossible for me to feel sorry for her as this show wanted you to be. I really tried to be understanding but she didn't deserve it. Also the casting was weird. "Carter" looked older than 16 (which the actress is but it seemed obvious to me) and her "twin sister" looked 14 making Carter even older looking. The show also didn't have any eye candy! I watch Pretty Little Liars which is ALL eye candy so I didn't have anything to keep me interested! 2 hours is A LONG TIME. I honestly got bored after the first hour (probably earlier if I'm being honest like you can only take so much meaness in one show). Sorry for this rant the show just irritated me and I'm afraid people are going to think that being like the Carter character is cool (she's a bitch to everyone mostly with no reason and does multiple drugs and drinks like a fish NOT a good role model). So let's just say I will not be tuning in anymore. 

BareMinerals The Gold & The Beautiful

 So I went to a Bareminerals outlet and found this set for $9.50. I thought this would be great bases for my eye makeup looks. Of course the colors are beautiful. Butttt I was disappointed by the size. I knew they would be small but just from trying to swatch them I left a big dent in the packaging (they were impossible to get out of the tube!) and they already look empty. As you can see from the last picture, they aren't even huge swatches! Looks like I'll barely be able to get any uses out of them. I was hoping for a little more from them. A regret purchase for me. :(

Beauty Bucket List- July

Hey guys I'm back! (I've been on vacation) Today I'm going to start a new (hopefully monthly) blog post inspired by EleventhGorgeous on Youtube 

In one of their videos they did a beauty bucket list and I LOVE that idea. I don't think I have enough to make a whole video so I'm going to do a post instead. Here's the link to their video

Beauty's Daughter book REVIEW

It's been awhile since I did a book review. I've been reading quite a bit lately. I'll try to post more reviews on here! In the mean time you can check out my goodreads profile to keep up with what I am reading/mini reviews! 

Here is a look at the book I am reviewing today! 

What it's about according to Goodreads:

What I thought: 

I gave it a 4/5 stars. I really liked this plot even though I am not usually interested in these fantasy-type books. I haven't read a ton of mythology stories but I do find them interesting. I read all 352 pages in 3 days because I got hooked. The plot is filled with twists and drama (like all good mythology stories). I didn't give this book 5 stars because I thought it was like 50 pages too long. I really recommend especially if you like reading dramatic books.

Game obsession!

I know I just posted about apps but I HAVE ANOTHER! This time it is a game called Episode. I've seen advertisements for this on Imagoo (I think). So I finally downloaded it because it was on the top game charts for free simulation games. Now I'm OBSESSED! 

It's a game where you go through different stories (I started with Campus Crush & Real Hollywood) and you pick different paths you can go down. Like on Campus Crush you can choose to join a sorority or not. It's really fun and they have tons of different chapters to go through. You can get new stories every four days (I believe. Could be three). The only thing I HATE is that you can only play two chapters every four hours. Waiting sucks!

There is a warning if you play certain chapters that it has mature content. They do talk about drinking and some other adult topics. Nothing too vulgar but I wouldn't recommend for anyone under 13.

Apps I'm obsessed with right now!

Sorry I haven't been posting much. I haven't felt like blogging after posting my Youtube videos. But here are some of the apps I love!

1. The Hunt! 

This is an app as well as a website! What you do is post pictures of clothing items you want to find where they come from and people help you locate them. You can also help other people locate what they're looking for! 

2. Imagoo 

This app you vote on pictures (what you like better, have you tried, etc.) and earn point for each thing you vote on. With those points you can redeem things like gift cards! This app is so fun it's kind of like a game for me. My username is heyitstay19.

3. Trendabl

This app you can shop for trendy clothes and post pictures of your outfits and where you got it from. I haven't played around with this as much but it's fun and when I start wearing cuter clothes I'll post more! My username is heyitstay19 in case you were wondering.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick "As You Want Victoria" First Impression

I'd like to state a quick disclaimer. I was sent this product from Influenster to review. If you'd like to join Influenster where you can review products and get offered to do exclusive programs! Here's a swatch on my hand(one swipe). The color comes off as a bright pink.

I went a little out of the lines here but this has been toned down a bit (still bright!)

I LOVE the purple packaging (its my favorite color)

shoutout to my Iphone 5 camera it's amazing

The lipstick is really comfortable to wear. It is pretty moisturizing for a lipstick. I'd still put a lip balm underneath though. The color is AMAZING. I love this color it'll be great for summer! For more of an everyday use I'd tone down the color quite a bit. 

The card that came with it claims to be "more vivid color" and "a burst of moisture". Also that this formula is new and improved "lips drenched in moisture vitamin-enriched color a burst of brilliance".

I'd agree with the color claims that baby is BRIGHT. I also think it is moisturizing. It is pretty long wearing I've been eating and drinking for a few hours now and there is a staining quality. 

I DO recommend if you're a lippie!

Hey guys I wanted to share a deal I came across recently and didn't want to dedicate a whole video over it.

PINK by Victoria's Secret has a promotion where with any PINK purchase (excluding clearance) you get a free makeup bag! The offer is members only (only one per person) but it's so easy to sign up that it isn't a problem.

This is what the bag looks like its got a clear cover and black left print background and pink details. It's not super big but it would work. 

Also while I was in the store about to try on a skater skirt there was a sign for a free pair of panties if you tried on a bra. I don't know how long this offer is good for. A Great Big Wold: Is There Anyone Out There? Review

Recently I found a new artist(s) that quickly became a favorite! It is a duo that calls themselves 'A Great Big World'. There debut album called "Is There Anyone Out There" came out this past Tuesday.

They are classified as Pop which it is but it reminds me of Broadway Showtunes. My friend described it as "a mix of Allstar Weekend(an old favorite band) and Owl City". Honestly if you listened to it you would understand why I think of showtunes.

NOOO I do NOT like this version. I am NOT a Christina fan anyways but this song is NOT as good as the original song but it's probably the version you've heard since its on the radio. 

I absolutely LOVE this album despite my somewhat sarcastic remarks. I highly recommend since I believe it will put you in a better mood. I love to listen after a bad day (especially Cheep Up!) or while doing homework.  

Also while you're googling look up Allstar Weekend (referenced several times) who use to be my favorite band but is now called Tragic Thrills and still good just different. 

Book Review: Anna and the French Kiss

I finished my book of 2014! It is Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I like reading cliche teen romance (to a point nothing too gooey)  basic drama books. I don't typically like super heavy, deep books. So I was expecting it to be typical/average. I got it for $2 at Ollie's. I ended up REALLY enjoying it. I found it to be rather funny (at least to me). I also enjoyed the amount of French, since I'm taking French currently and know about as much as she does. 

Here's the summary from Goodreads(seriously check out this site!): 

"Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris--until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all...including a serious girlfriend.  

But in the City of Light, wishes have a way of coming true. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss?"

It came out in 2010 and is 372 pages. 

I would say it is an easy read without a lot of hard words and like I said little French so you're not lost if you don't know the language. It also stays pretty PG-13. 

I would recommend this if you enjoy light dramas without it being too intense. It took me about 3 days to read so I think its a light(er) read. I'd give it a 5/5 stars.

Baby Lips Color

This product is not yet out in the U.S yet but I ordered it off Ebay a few months ago. I didn't intend on doing a post on them but I figured I should. I got the recent motivation because Baby Skin was just released in the U.S so these may not be too far away! In case you didn't know they are by Maybelline.

They are suppose to be pigmented lip balms. 

Bottom: Pink Lolita 

Top (left to right) Rose Addict, Cherry Kiss, Coral Flush, Berry Crush

They all have a fruit punch Starburst smell and are super buttery feeling like other Baby Lips. My favorites are Cherry Kiss and Rose Addict 

The packing is super cute! 

I ordered mine in a set off Ebay because I wanted to try them all and it was cheaper than ordering them all individually.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Blemish Control

I'm going to start doing more beauty related posts instead of just movie reviews. This product I'm going to do is something I found recently and LOVE!

Smashbox Photo Finish More Than Primer Blemish Control

What a mouthful right? I received this product in a sample bag from Sephora and really enjoy it.

You can't really tell but the packaging is really green and its 2% salicylic acid. The primer itself is actually clear like most other salicylic acid treatments. According to Smashbox you're suppose to see results in 2 weeks. 

I honestly think it helps keep my makeup looking good all day. I've been using it for about 2-3 weeks and have noticed a difference. I cannot say its been 100%  a result from using this but I stopped using my night cream and just use this right before I put makeup on. This product, to my knowledge, hasn't been out very long and only comes in a big size not a travel size-yet! As of now its $42 on Sephora (link will take you right to it) and you get 1oz.  My size was half the size of the travel(.4oz) so it won't last me super long but it will last awhile since you don't need a lot of product at once.

I know $42 is A LOT for a primer but I did some research and found a much cheaper product that could possible be a dupe. It's by L'Oreal and is only $13 at Ulta. It's called Studio Secrets Professional Color Correcting Primer and I haven't tried it (yet! I'm waiting until I use up my sample). It isn't a salicylic acid treatment but it is green which means its anti redness. It has mixed reviews but if you don't like it most stores will let you return it. Plus everyone has different skin types and you never know what will work and won't work!

Happy New Year! I hope your 2014 is great! Here's a look at my favorite movies that came out this past year! *side note this aren't in any order! Also these pictures are from Pinterest*

1. CATCHING.FIRE.

ok yes I had to. I can't. I have a full review of it further down but yeah I'm a huge fan of the books.

This must of been the year of sequels since all my choices are basically... I tend to like sequels obviously. Bill Hader voices a character and I'm all about SNL!

 

8. The Heat

I just saw this one recently and I laughed my head off! Taran Killam is a SNL cast member(my fave fyi)  just to point out since I've done that with everyone else lol!

 

9. Frozen!

Yay Disney!

 

10. Anchorman 2 the Legend Continues

More sequels yaaaay but I have a special place in my heart for Brick!

 

11. Iron Man 3

Marvel another love of mine! Plus who wouldn't want a suit like Iron Man's?

Thor isn't a personally favorite but I do love Chris and I do like the movies!
